The Shit used to hit the ceiling! Not any more!
It has hit the streets of Delhi. And no one cares. Not the ones who want to espouse the cause of cleanliness through the propagandist Swach Bharat Abhiyan. 7 Race Course Road is in Luytens’ Delhi and that’s not close to Mayur Vihar, Patparganj or Pandav Nagar (check your google maps, Dummies!).
All the seven MPs Delhites elected can’t do a thing because nothing is in their hands as there is there is this man whom Delhi inflicted on itself as the Chief Minister and its simply not the MPs’ fault. The poor guy from Siwani, Haryana was a resident of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. His Delhi’s geography is limited to Ramlila Maidan and Jantar Mantar. And on top of it all he is having a Jung to deal with. And you dare not float dirty jokes about his party’s election symbol being a broom (filth on the road doesn’t mean your jokes get laced with metaphorical dirt, you idiotic Delhite!).Then there are the elected representatives to the 3 Corporations who are helpless and are hopping around like headless chickens for the Delhi Government doesn’t listen to them. If at all their conscience will hurt – they will proactively go stock medicines for cholera to be given away free from state run hospitals. By the way, for the first time in many years the state run hospitals are claiming that they are cleaner than the city!
